The AAT Intermediate Pathway has been designed as a combination of two courses to help students get their accountancy studies fast tracked at an affordable price. This package will combine the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting and the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
The course will being by introducing you to fundamental aspects of accounting such as accounting standards, double entry bookkeeping, VAT and capital expenditure. As you progress through the course materials you will explore more complex areas including suspense accounts, reports and preparation of final accounts for partnerships and sole traders.

Qualifications
In order to gain the AAT Level 2 Certificate & Level 3 Diploma in Accounting you will be required to sit 8 exams and 4 computer-based projects. From there, if you wish, you'll be able to go on to study the next step on your way to the full AAT Accounting Qualification, the AAT Level 4 Diploma.

Study Details
Your AAT training is made up of five units for the Level 2 Certificate and seven units for the Level 3 Diploma and will allow you to learn at your own pace, in a logical way.
Once you have completed both the Level 2 and Level 3 course materials you are required to sit 8 computer-based examinations and 4 computer-based projects. These will be taken at an external exam centre. Successful completion of the exams will see you receive your the AAT Level 2 Certificate and AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
Each new study topic adds to the knowledge you have already gained, and you should be able to complete the entire course within approximately 700 hours of study.
Careers
By equipping you with the practical, hands-on accounting skills employers are looking for, your AAT Accounting qualifications will prepare you for your first specialist accounting role.
