
ICB Certificate in Book-Keeping (Level 2) Associate
The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) Level 2 Associate training programme is ideal for those wanting to get a career in bookkeeping started. This course will introduce students to the practice of recording financial transactions to enable efficient business planning.
The beauty of our Level 2 Associate course is that you will not only learn the traditional methods used in manual bookkeeping, but you will also discover computerised bookkeeping using globally recognised software – Excel and Sage.
You will be able to increase your knowledge and skills by looking at various assignments and practical examples and on completion of the training you will be able to submit VAT returns, handle end of year bookkeeping, manage accounts and undertake reconciliation's amongst other things.
Qualifications
Obtain industry recognised qualifications by taking the ICB Level 2 Associate Qualification.

Study Details
The Book-keeping course has a total of 7 workbooks. Whilst working your way through each of the units you will be given a total of 8 assignments to complete. You will be allocated a personal tutor who can be contacted via email and telephone. Your tutor will assess your completed assignments and give you feedback on your progress.
Once you have completed the course you will be required to sit 4 exams as follows.
- Level 1 - taken at home
- Sage Competency - taken at home
- Level 2 Manual Bookkeeping – taken at external assessment centre
- Level 2 Computerised Bookkeeping – taken at home
Most students complete this Practical Book-Keeping Intermediate course within approximately 220 hours of study.
